I am just a Yogi from Akron who found herself in need of some serious clarity when the routine of coming home and having a few glasses of wine to relax turned into the whole bottle way too often.
I loved my wine. I looked forward to pouring the first glass after a long day to wind down. I believed I had earned it and was living life at its fullest.
Let me be real here. The first glass always felt so good and often made the second one that much easier....
My life became an exhaustive cycle of wanting to drink less but believing I would feel deprived without it. For year’s the inner dialogue went something like, “stop trying to be so perfect, loosen up. It's just wine. It's not like you wake up needing a drink. It's not that bad…”
Yet, I knew drinking was taking way more than it was giving. I was sick of the the 4 am waking up, the hangovers, the missed moments and the I really messed that up recall moments. Even worse, I did not like the person I had become.
ALCOHOL FREE VACATION #4, CURACAO
If you relate to this, you don't need to stay stuck there. I know what you are going through and how hard the cycle rut is. No juice cleanse, exercise trend, or any other thing you dive yourself into is going to beat this out of you. Trust me, I tried those too.
Gray Area drinking is a REAL thing because we get hooked by how it feels especially when we don't want to feel or think
There is nothing wrong with you.
It turns out why we drink is not the problem; it is the answer. If you want to change your drinking habits patterns, the WHY is the solution to drink less or not at all.
My drinking habits changed when I connected to what was behind my desire to drink.
It was the beginning to the end of my monkey mind struggle.
You can learn and apply the same methods as I did. I want to coach you through the process of getting to where you want to be!
The approach that worked for me does not rely on will power. It is an empowering and effective attitude towards your choices for alcohol.
” I have been doing yoga and self-inquiry exercises for years and I can truly say that the Pamela's five week series that supported my break from Alcohol was the most eye-opening, thought-provoking and life-changing workshop I have ever participated in. Pamela was a passionate and knowledgeable facilitator, and the fearlessness and vulnerability she displayed in sharing her own story gave me the courage to be honest with myself about my own struggles. If you want to learn tools to get out of your rut of habitual drinking (and habitual thinking!) follow her lead. “
